Privacy policy
What we collect
Your account email and name, your company name and (if you link it) your mobile number; the projects, orders and materials lists you create; and the search text or photos you submit to be priced. Payment card details are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
To run the service: identify and price materials, place and fulfil your orders, send order and sign-in emails, and provide WhatsApp ordering if you opt in. We use aggregate, non-identifying data to improve matching and the product.
Who we share it with (processors)
We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (database & auth), Stripe (payments), Postmark (email), Twilio (WhatsApp), Google Maps (address lookup), Vercel (hosting), and pricing-data sources. We do not sell your data.
Legal basis & retention
We process data to perform our contract with you and for our legitimate interest in running and improving the service; marketing only with your consent. We keep order records as required for tax and accounting, and other data only as long as needed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or port your data, and object to processing. Email hello@brcks.io. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use only essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and hold your basket. No advertising trackers.
